Measuring tumor acidosis in a lung cancer model using acidoCEST MRI:
A mouse model of spontaneous lung cancer was imaged using acidoCEST MRI.  This imaging technique generated a parametric map of the extracellular pH in the tumor, which had an average extracellular pH value of 6.67 pH units.  This result establishes that acidoCEST MRI of lung is feasible.
