Dr. Mark Woods, Assistant Professor of Chemistry at Portland State University and the Oregon Health & Sciences University in Portand, OR, visited CAMEL on Oct 8-9, 2012. Dr. Woods presented a seminar in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, titled " Understanding Molecular Structure in Terms of Dynamics: Implications for Molecular Imaging by MRI". He also presented a seminar to the Cancer Imaging Program, titled "Is Gadolinium suitable for the molecular imaging of cancer?". A highlight of Dr. Woods' visit was a dinner with members of the CAMEL group, and extensive discussions about CAMEL research with contrast agents. The CAMEL greatly appreciated Dr. Wood's visit, and we look forward to the chance to invite Dr. Woods back to Tucson.
