Oday Wer works with the Chemical Agent Molecular Engineering Lab (CAMEL) as an Undergradute Research Assistant working under Dr. Mark “Marty” Pagel. Joining the lab in Spring 2015, research in progress includes non-invasive in vivo imaging studies of mice with tumor mass. Other experiments performed include imaging of various phantoms, gaining experience with the MRI machine to understand and interpret data such as diffusion rates of active and passive transport, and chemical exchange saturation transfer effects. Interests in Cancer research using imaging techniques to further analyze chemotherapy drugs effects. Further research hopes are clinical studies using fMRI techniques and work as a graduate towards a PhD.
